For the past 25 years, I have always thought beyond the confines of conventional logic, putting myself in the client’s position to create memorable places and moments of life. Over recent months – through encounters, discoveries and the seminars I’ve attended – I have come to realise something essential: hoteliers are profoundly isolated, and there is a strong desire to exchange views with those facing the same challenges.
It is from this realisation that TOMO Voices was born.
TOMO Voices is a platform without euphemism or pretence, bringing together best practices, pitfalls to avoid, challenges to navigate and personalities to learn from… with, naturally, a touch of activism – because hospitality carries a political power that ought to be exercised.

In Japanese, the word TOMO refers to a companion with whom one shares a part of the journey. My eponymous newsletter was born from this desire: to move forward together, to open a window onto the approaches, actions, and people who are reinventing the way we travel and inhabit the world. A free-form curation of fragments gleaned here and there, so many sparks capable of broadening our perspective.
